MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Workplace reported the arrest of two individuals in connection to a medication and firearms investigation. Jason Brundige, 50, of Saratoga Springs, and Keella Weaver, 39, of Malta, have been each charged with two counts of third-degree felony possession of a managed substance.
On July 3, regulation enforcement executed a search warrant on the Roosevelt Motel in Malta as a part of a longstanding investigation into narcotics and unlawful weapons being offered in Saratoga County. The Sheriff’s Workplace was assisted within the operation by the Saratoga Springs Police Division and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
Brundige and Weaver have been taken into custody because of the search. Brundige was moreover charged with the next offenses:
- Second-degree felony possession of a weapon
- Third-degree felony possession of a weapon
- Prison possession of a firearm
Brundige and Weaver have been arraigned on the Malta City Court docket. Brundige was then remanded to the Saratoga County Jail with out bail, whereas Weaver was launched to pretrial providers.
