BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (PIX11) – An assault on two boys in Brooklyn final Sunday is being investigated as a potential antisemitic hate crime, sources informed PIX11 Information on Friday.
The boys, ages 11 and 13, had been enjoying on a sidewalk on Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant when a person on a motorcycle approached them and yelled, “Get off the sidewalk!” sources stated.
The person then obtained off of his bike and pushed the 13-year-old boy to the bottom earlier than kicking and punching the 11-year-old boy within the again, in line with the NYPD.
The boys had been carrying yarmulkes after they had been attacked, sources informed PIX11 Information.
The person fled the scene on his bike going southbound on Franklin Avenue towards Willoughby Avenue, police stated.
Police stated the suspect is between 18 and 20 years previous. He was final seen carrying a black jacket, black and white striped shirt, gentle blue denims, and white sneakers with stripes.
