Arrest made in 21 year-old Henderson cold case

RENO, Nev. (FOX5) – A 47-year-old has been arrested for a murder that occurred in Henderson over twenty years in the past, the Henderson Police Division mentioned.

Police mentioned the murder occurred on Sept. 4, 2003 round 2:15 p.m. within the 200 block of Gold Road. Investigators revealed {that a} lady died inside a residence from sharp power trauma.

Investigators dominated the incident as a murder. The sufferer was recognized as 28-year-old Theresa Romano. The case has been open for the previous 21 years.

With DNA testing and the enlargement of the HPD Chilly Case Unit, the suspect was recognized as 47-yare-old Ricky Lee Dealer. On July 16, detectives took Dealer into custody within the Reno space. He was booked into the Washoe County Detention Middle and extradited Monday.
