BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A Greene man has been sentenced to eight years in New York State jail for possessing and desiring to promote methamphetamine.
Martin Matias, 38, pleaded responsible to Legal Possession of a Managed Substance within the Third Diploma. He admitted that he was in possession of roughly six ounces of methamphetamine on October 12, 2023, when he was stopped for having improper license plates. He additionally admitted that he supposed to promote the medication.
Matias was sentenced on June 12 to eight years in jail, adopted by three years of post-release supervision.
