- Three Males Charged with Drug-Associated Offenses
Police have arrested and charged Romario McDonald, a 79-year-old fisherman, Raheem Rougier, a 19-year-old labourer, each from Grenada, and Vincent Edwards, a 43-year-old fisherman of Grenada/Petit Bordel, in reference to drug trafficking offenses.
The accused are charged with possession of 13 thousand, 600 and twenty (13,620) grams of Hashish. They’re alleged to have possessed this managed drug; (1) with the intention to produce it to a different individual and (2) for the aim of trafficking.
The boys had been arrested on Might 9, 2024, at Petit Bordel and appeared earlier than the Critical Offence Courtroom on Might 13, 2024. Edwards pleaded responsible to each offences, whereas Mc Donald and Rougier pleaded not responsible. All three males had been remanded in custody.
The matter was adjourned to Might 14, 2024 for assessment and sentencing.
