A North York man was sentenced to 7.5 years in jail after pleading responsible to an extended listing of costs in a Belleville
courtroom Monday.
Camar Francis pleaded responsible in December to possession of property obtained by crime, possession for the aim of trafficking, possession of a firearm or prohibited weapon whereas prohibited, failing to adjust to a probation order, and one other weapons cost.
Francis was arrested by Quinte West OPP officers and OPP specialty models on April 18 of 2023 after a police search of a residence within the metropolis.
The search turned up over 400 grams of cocaine, tablets believed to be percocets and xanax, digital scales, cell telephones, and over $2,600 in money.
A loaded black Ruger 9mm handgun was situated outdoors of the residence beneath as bed room utilized by Francis, who was 19 on the time of the arrest.
Two different folks initially arrested, Amelia Shephard and Kayla Parks, had costs towards them withdrawn in October of 2023.
