JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 44-year-old South Carolina man who U.S. Marshals gunned down in a shooting at an Oceanway gas station was linked to the loss of life of a 29-year-old man who was fatally stabbed on Jacksonville’s Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned.
Nelson Marrero was needed in South Carolina on a sexual battery cost. On Might 21, a U.S. Marshal shot and killed Marrero throughout an investigation at a Circle Ok fuel station on North Predominant Road and New Berlin Street.
In response to a JSO report, on Might 16, Marrero argued with Corey Sampson over unfinished repairs on his motorbike at a house on La Marche Drive.
Marrero pulled out a knife, and witnesses mentioned Sampson advised him to drop it so they may combat like males.
Witnesses advised JSO that Marrero stabbed Sampson within the neck and left the scene.
Sampson died from his accidents.
